Residential aged care in Australia is substantially controlled by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing under the Aged Care Act 1997.
To gain access to an approved facility and be entitled to a Commonwealth subsidy, it is recommended that information be sought from a government appointed Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and contact be made to Centre link.
It is advisable when seeking admission to Carinya Care Services to make an appointment to view our facility with our staff. On the visit you will have all questions answered and you will get a first hand feeling of the special care we provide our residents. Please ensure that you are aware of the current entry screening requirements.
Resident contribution changes from time to time due to any increase in the rate of pension.
